🌍 Cecilia Vega: Where Design and Wanderlust Collide. 🚀

Imagine yourself on a stormy night in Bali, lightning splitting the sky and me, a lone designer typing away behind a laptop in a bamboo hut rewriting what is means for humans to interact with technology. It was at this moment the realization came to me: the world is my UX lab.

With a passport in one hand and a Wacom pen in the other, I have spent the last ten years chasing on the dawn across 63 different countries while designing interfaces that result in faster heart rates than a midnight tuk tuk ride in Bangkok. 🏍️💨 From the cobblestone streets of Lisbon to the sand dunes of the Sahara, from the neon glow streets of Tokyo to every lamp lit alleyway, whispers of how people actually view the world have been given to me - and I transform their whispers into pixels that sing.

🔥 My Origin Story (the abbreviated version)

Age 23: fresh out of Stanford's HCI program, I took a "3-month sabbatical" that promptly turned into an uncertain future. My first viral moment? Designing a gesture-controlled app for Moroccan street vendors as I was learning how to haggle in Darija for these vendors. The internet called it "unhinged." I called it research.

Age 27: Stranded in Patagonia for 17 days notes app had only a satellite connection. I built an AR navigation experience for hikers using only rocks and pure spite. Apple borrowed the concept later... (you're welcome Tim Cook. 💋)

Present Day: My life is basically a cocktail of suitcase scars, epiphanies in airport lounges, and hotel bathroom mirrors filled with wire frames drawn on with lipstick (because I am living proof that you can bring the UX process anywhere). ✍️ I am currently fascinated with how Balinese temple rituals share the closest sense of sacred UX patterns - ask me about the time I convinced a shaman to beta test my app...
